quality service based upon inspiration
I’m often asked what inspired the name “Empty Mirror Cleaners”. When I started the company twenty years ago I wanted to build something that would offer quality service and use inspiration from my own life to accomplish this.
The “Empty Mirror” is based on an eastern poem written by Hui-neng. I interpreted Hui-neng’s poem for the purpose of my company’s name. When everything is clean we can be our best and live healthy. In this way we can see ourselves and the world around us more clearly.

I’ve developed relationships with many customers that have lasted as long as twenty years. I still work for clients I came in contact with when I started the company. To me this is evidence of a strong work ethic, honesty, quality service and a commitment to excellence.
This brings me back to what inspired our name. To be the best and help others to be the same through a clean environment requires a commitment to honesty, integrity and quality service.
